Cusco & Machu Picchu 6 Days

This program is developed for travelers who want to make his dream to reality; this Peru luxury tour includes the surrounding of Cusco, the Sacred Valley and the tour in Machu Picchu with a high quality of services. But you also will know the Maras- Moray that is includes in your vacation package. Come to Peru and travel around Cusco to explore its magical history.

Day 1:  Arrive Cusco & Cusco City Tour (Overnight Hotel Cusco).
Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas (Pisaq, Ollantaytambo & Train Aguas Calientes ( Overnight Hotel Aguas Calientes ).
Day 3: Moray & Salt mines.
Day 4: Machupicchu early Morning Exploration Full Day & Trai Back to Ollantaytambo and Bus back to Cusco (Overnight Hotel Cusco).
Day 5: at leisure
Day 6: Transfer Hotel to Airport or Terminal (End of the Service) 

DAY 01: Cusco – City Tour.
Breakfast at your Hotel, our personal will pick you up from your Hotel to Lima to transfer to Lima Airport to take your flight to Cusco, Upon arrival to Cusco Airport, our staff will be waiting for you to drive you to the Hotel where you will receive an aromatic coca tea then you have the free morning to rest for a while. We suggest you have a light lunch in either your hotel or in one of the surrounded; in the afternoon we will depart on a City tour (entrance to the archaeological centers and museums including) we will visit the Main square, Cathedral, the Koricancha (temple of the sun) and in addition we will make a route bordering archaeological centers like Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q'enko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, tour finishes 6:30pm approximately at the main square in order you can take dinner in one of the exquisite restaurants in the area.(B)

DAY 02: Sacred Valley Tour
Breakfast then you will be picked up at 8:15 am. Full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley visiting: the archaeological site of Pisac with picturesque and stunning terraced fields on the top of the mountain and the colorful Indian market in Pisac where a mixture of color and tradition will be able appreciated besides will have a good opportunity to try our bargain skills on the free time to interact with the local craftsmen to purchase their hand-made souvenirs. The Valley has a distance of 31 km (19 miles) of Cusco, and an altitude of 2,970 ms (9,700 p), Pisac is located to the entrance of the Sacred Valley and followed by Ollantaytambo, the older town continuously occupied of the American continent. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with their channels that have not varied from the time Inca, evoke their ancestral inheritance, lunch in a typical restaurant and after we explore Ollantaytambo we take the train at Ollantaytambo train station 2 hours to get Aguas Calientes. (B)

DAY 03: Maras Salt Mines & Moray
Guided visit to the not traditional MORAY circuit, a unique archaeological site.
MORAY, for its climatic conditions and other characteristics, was an important center of domestication, acclimatization and hybridization of vegetable, wild plants that were modified or adapted for the human consumption.
Then our journey continues to the Salt Mines of Maras located at 7 km of Moray, we will pass a Typical Spanish Village called Maras. Towards the northwest of the village of Maras we can find the famous salineras known by some as " salt pans" there are constituted by approximately 3000 small pans by an average area of approximately 5 m ², constructed in a side of the inclination of the mountain of "Qaqawiñay", which during the epoch of drought "they" fill or "water" every 3 days with salty water that comes from a natural spring located at the top of the pans, once the water gets evaporated, the salt contained on them will gradually get solid. This process will continue approximately for one month up to obtain a considerable amount of solid salt, which is about 10 cm. of height from the bottom, which later is struck and this way granulated; the salt will be pocketed later in costal plastic and sent to the markets of the region; today this salt is being iodized for what its consumption is not harmful.

DAY 04: Machu Picchu - Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel, pick up and transfer to Ollantaytambo or Poroy train station to board the train that will take us to Machupicchu Town (Aguas Calientes). Once you arrive you have to walk about 100 meters towards the bus station to board them, they will take you to the top of the mountain on a ride that lasts 25 minutes, and then the guided tour (it lasts about 2 hours) will star in the Historic Sanctuary. Once the tour is finish will have time for lunch and explore the area on your own. Return to the City of Cusco by train.  (B)

DAY 05:  Day at Leisure in Cusco.
After breakfast in the hotel, you have the chance to visit many places included in the general ticket we provide as:

  • Koricancha Site Museum
  • Garcilaso Museum
  • Cusco City Hall Contemporary Museum
  • Popular Art Museum
  • Qosqo Folk Dance show.

Of course that if you want you can rest or explore by your own. But all mentioned places above are included and you do not have any extra fee. (B)

DAY 06: Cusco - Departure Day
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima or to continue with an extension program. We can arrange a later flight date out of Cusco or additional post tour accommodation in Cusco or Lima upon client request. (B)
